James Shaw is a young designer based in London, he has studied at University College Falmouth, Kingston University and is currently studying for his Masters Degree at the Royal College of Art.
He has a broad range of creative interests which most professionally diverge into product and furniture design. His work ranges from pieces such as the WaldenHome, a future forward exploration of the effect of changing food production methods, to manufacturing and process led objects of simple beauty such as the metal spinning range.
He has been recognised in both the British and international press as well as winning accolades such as the 100% Design Award in 2010 a Blueprint Magazine Up-and-Coming Designer award and nomination for the Homes and Gardens Young Designer award.
